NÆ is in love with architectural form.

She visualizes and lyricizes rural and urban space as a metaphor in songs about a hypothetical lover’s obsession with the otherness of small towns, the ruins of economic decay in cities, and the silence of exurban subdivisions.  

Each song creates a portrait of spaces that are the anthropomorphized subjects of the lover’s tribulations, fears, and insecurities.
